Dr. Beat Buhlmann possesses many years of senior management, consulting, marketing, and sales experience in the Internet & IT industry and has worked around the world for renowned companies such as Google, Evernote, Dell and HP. Thanks to his dual background (IT & Business Administration) combined with his apprenticeship as a car mechanic, the author’s key strength is bridging the gap between theory and practice. He addresses the needs of working practitioners and focuses on instantly actionable output. The author also teaches Digital Transformation as well as Virtual Team Management (the latter being his doctoral thesis and the topic of his first book) at various leading universities around the world, including IMD Lausanne, Harvard Extension School, Hult, Universities of St. Gallen, Lucerne, and Zurich, and is an internationally experienced keynote speaker at conferences and company events.
Further, Beat is member of the board of Swiss-based companies helping them navigate through the digital transformation process.
